All roles are open to older middle school and high school-age students.
Steve Childs:
A young web entrepreneur, the visionary CEO and Founder of Softwear.com.
Baritone / Tenor, early 20s
Bob Sellers:
Steve’s best friend since high school and the firm’s Vice President of Sales. He thinks he’s quite a sharp dresser. Bass / Baritone, early 20s
Liz Good:
A recent MBA graduate from a top business school who serves as an Intern and later as Director and Vice President of Operations for Softwear.com.
Soprano, early 20s
Jasmine Jones:
Softwear.com’s Vice President of Marketing. High Society woman in her 30s or 40s.
Cross between Martha Stewart and Ethyl Merman.
Mezzo-Soprano (belter)
Gilford M. Buckston III:
A distinguished man in his 30s or 40s Noted Venture Capitalist and Chairman of the
Board with a convincing sneer. Raps, doesn’t sing.
Charles “Chip” Kidd:
A very young, geeky looking alpha-nerd and Softwear.com’s Chief Technology Officer. Tenor. Early teens.
Katerina Sforza:
Beautiful, refined, and elegant young head designer and CEO of a fast-growing Italian fashion empire. Mezzo-Soprano, early 20s.
Dorothy “Dot” Newell:
A recent college graduate in liberal arts who serves as the company’s Receptionist and Office Manager Alto, early 20s.
Conner Mann:
A persistent young salesman and dotcom supplier. Bass / Baritone, early 20s.
Chorus:
At least six men and six women, all ages and vocal ranges, to fill in roles as venture capitalist toadies, customers, fashion models, clerks, web developers, backup vocalists, baristas, a masseur, a biker, an announcer, a waiter, et cetera. Speaking parts and vocal solos available.
